The CHÂTEAU LES MARCEAUX vineyard covers 8,5 hectares.
The vines are 45% Merlot and 55% Cabernet Sauvignon.
 
   
     
   
 The vat room

The capacity of the vats is adapted to our different sectors of land, enabling us to produce in the best possible conditions.
   
 

 The barrels


The maturation of our "Cuvée Sélection" takes place in oak barrels. A quarter of the barrels are renewed each year.
 
   
 
 
 
In our opinion, the essential production method is that of "rational action''

TREAT BETTER, TREAT LESS, TREAT AT THE RIGHT TIME,

and this is a reality at CHÂTEAU LES MARCEAUX with the support of the Medoc ADAR (Rural and Agricultural Developement Association). It involves :

- The fixing of the best date for each treatment according to the development thresholds of parasites,
- The use of
regularly inspected materials,
- Priority given to a choice of molecules which present the least harmful consequence for the environment and zero consequence for the consumer,

Such are the principles which guide our grape and wine production at CHÂTEAU LES MARCEAUX.

The respect of good working practice goes without saying :

Our constant concern for the tracability of each of our interventions means that everything is recorded in a register. We are able to recover the background of a bottle thanks to the batch number printed on each label. We are thus able to find out everything about content, source, production maturation and bottling.
