Château
Les Marceaux 2001
The wine has a clear colour shading
to garnet.
The nose, still slightly closed, is dominated by aromas of red
berry fruits which open up into a chocolatey nuance when left
to breathe.
A supple attack which develops an elegant body with well-rounded
tannins.
A finish reminiscent of those elements present in the nose.
Lesparre area and St Yzans sectors. |

sélection 2001
A good, deep garnet colour, presents

hints. From a rounded attack, it develops a nicely structured
body with strongly present tannins which will require some time
to blend completely. |

The CHÂTEAU LES MARCEAUX may be served with char-grilled
meats.
The "Cuvée sélection" would be the perfect
accompaniement to game or meat cooked in a sauce.
In order to fully appreciate our wines, bring them to room temperature
24 hours in advance and allow to breathe for four hours before
serving.
If you notice a tartar deposit, it is the sign of a natural
product. All you will need to do in this case is decant the
wine gently into a carafe. |
